Why Bouldering?

More than movement.

Bouldering combines sport, play, and challenge in a format that’s inclusive and engaging for all ages. Olympic-recognised and youth-driven, it’s also one of the world’s fastest-growing activities. With booming indoor participation and growing demand for outdoor access, bouldering is reshaping how communities move, connect, and thrive together.

More Than a Climb.

Bouldering and the Olympics

Bouldering is one of the only Olympic sports available in public spaces. First introduced at the Tokyo 2020 Games and returning for Paris 2024, climbing has secured its place on the world stage.

This recognition has boosted the sport’s visibility, inspiring new participants of all ages. By installing BOULDERING® structures in parks, schools, and community spaces, we give people the chance to engage with an Olympic-recognised activity — not just as spectators, but as everyday participants.

For young people especially, it’s an opportunity to develop skills and confidence on the same movement foundations as elite athletes, while still keeping the experience safe, inclusive, and community-focused.
